For Wanda I. Cape, RN, MN, MPH, CNM, few things rival the joy in bringing a new life in the world, unless, of course, you count educating patients about their pregnancies. Wanda has spent more than two decades providing the kind of superior nursing and medical care she’d want her own family to receive. Today she brings that passion and commitment to the Georgia Center for Female Health in Peachtree Corners and Decatur, Georgia, where she serves as a certified nurse-midwife.
Wanda enjoys working with women through all stages of life from young adults through childbearing years through menopause and to their golden years. Her clinical skills include prenatal care, low-risk vaginal birth, gynecologic care, cervical and vaginal colposcopy, cryosurgery of the cervix, and insertions of IUDs.
Wanda began her journey to her nursing career at Emory University in Atlanta where she earned her bachelor’s and master’s in nursing as well as a master’s in public health. When she isn’t busy helping her patients, Wanda enjoys spending time with her family and two dogs as well as going for walks, reading, and watching movies.
